Palm Springs Man Shot Multiple Times In Walmart Parking Lot
PALM SPRINGS (CBS) — A man was shot multiple times in the chest after arguing with someone in a passing car in a Walmart parking lot, according to officials.
The victim, whose name, age and condition were not released, was shot about 7:20 p.m. Friday, said Palm Springs police Lt. Bryan Reyes.
Police said the victim was walking towards the store's entrance when he got into an altercation with a man driving a newer-model, dark-colored car.
Authorities said the suspect is still at large.
"At some point during the argument," relates Reyes, "one of the occupants of the car pulled out a gun and shot the victim multiple times."
The suspect fled eastbound on Ramon Road.
The victim was taken to Desert Regional Medical Center, according to Reyes.
