Oxnard Police Hunt For Murder Victim's Killer, Vehicle
OXNARD (CBSLA.com) — Officials in Oxnard are searching for a murder victim's killer and his vehicle.
Authorities believe if they find the person who took Juan Carlos Garcia's black 1997 Nissan truck, they might also find the person who killed him.
Garcia, 26, an Oxnard resident, was stabbed to death on Friday.
He was discovered in the 1500 block of Alturas Street about 9:19 a.m.
Garcia's truck was also last seen near where his body was found.
A motive for the stabbing was not immediately known but police do not believe the crime was gang-related.
The truck has a California license plate # 5P25941.
If you've spotted the vehicle since Friday morning, you are asked to call 911 immediately.
