Owners of North Hollywood Pot Dispensary Evicted
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — The owners of a North Hollywood marijuana dispensary were evicted Thursday under a court order obtained by the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office.
Starbudz Inc. and Eric Matuschek were ordered to pay more than $35,000 in attorneys' fees and costs, authorities said.
The eviction action against the owners of the shop was carried out on Wednesday after sheriff's deputies cleared the premises.
Los Angeles Police officers seized the property and found nearly eight pounds of marijuana.
The eviction was filed in response to community complaints and was based on evidence collected by a LAPD search warrant.
