Orioles Trade Reliever Ryan Webb To Dodgers
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com/AP) — The Baltimore Orioles have traded right-handed reliever Ryan Webb to the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The deal on Thursday sent Webb, minor league catcher Brian Ward and a draft pick to Los Angeles for minor league catcher Chris O'Brien and minor league pitcher Ben Rowen.
Webb was 3-3 with a 3.83 ERA in 51 games for the Orioles last year. The 29-year-old has pitched 317 games in his major league career with San Diego, the Marlins and the Orioles.
The team said the Dodgers currently hold four of the first 74 picks in the upcoming draft.
