One person killed in crash on 101 Freeway in North Hollywood

A person was killed Sunday in a crash on the 101 Freeway in North Hollywood. 

The California Highway Patrol said the crash unfolded just before 5 a.m. on the northbound freeway at the Vineland Avenue off-ramp. 

It prompted the CHP to close the northbound lanes of the freeway for several hours, which were opened later. 

The cause of the crash remains under investigation. 

On Tuesday, the victim was identified as 26-year-old Analee Rodriguez.
