On The Hunt For A Young, Rich Spouse? Head To Manhattan Beach
MANHATTAN BEACH (CBS) — Are you looking for a young and rich hottie with cash? Don't just sit there! Head to Manhattan Beach!
According to CNN Money, that California town is the #1 place in all of America to hook up with wealthy and unattached singles.
The city's population? Just over 34,000 and a third of them reportedly single with lots of disposable income. The median take -- not too shabby -- $154,860.
Beverly Hills came in #3 behind Tyson's Corner, Virginia. (Median income there $143,749)
Where? Tyson's What?
Okay, back to California.
After Beverly Hills, the survey says you'll also do well to visit Hermosa Beach #4. Median income here is $134, 033. Oh, and almost half the rich and frolicking here are single.
Madison, New Jersey rounds out the Top Five. (Median income $131,529.)
Forgetting New Jersey for a minute (and who hasn't tried?) eight of the Top 25 Best Places for the Rich and Single are here in California. They don't call us the Golden State for nothing!
Six of the eight cities are in Southern Cali -- joining the aforementioned Manhattan Beach, Beverly Hills and Hermosa Beach, Coronado (#8), Marina del Rey (#13), Irvine (#14). The other two best cities are up north; Campbell (#24) and Berkeley (#25).
