Officials Release Sketch Of Pico Rivera Assault Suspect
PICO RIVERA (CBS) — Authorities have released a sketch of a man accused of sexually assaulting a woman in a Pico Rivera alley and slashing her with a knife.
The attack occurred between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. Jan. 24 when the suspect approached the woman near a business in the 8400 block of Rosemead Boulevard, Detective J. LaBella of the sheriff's Pico Rivera Station said.
The suspect was described as Latino, in his mid-20s, six feet tall, about 260 pounds, and clean-shaven with bushy eyebrows. He spoke with a Spanish accent, LaBella said.
The sketch released Thursday shows the suspect wearing a dark hoody that conceals his forehead and ears.
Detectives urged anyone with information on the suspect to call (562)222-5533 or (562)949-2421.
