Carjacking Suspect Leads Officials On Pursuit From Norwalk To Compton
COMPTON (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Thursday pursued a carjacking suspect from Norwalk to Compton.
The driver, who was behind the wheel of a silver SUV, could be seen driving erratically during the chase.
The man stopped on South Figueroa Street, near West Compton Boulevard, just before 11:30 a.m.
He remained inside the vehicle for roughly 10 minutes as armed deputies surrounded the vehicle, but eventually exited the SUV and surrendered.
He was subsequently taken into custody.
No other details were immediately released.
