Officer Pleads Not Guilty To Sex Solicitations During Traffic Stops
SAN DIEGO (CBS) — A Southland police officer charged with soliciting sex during traffic stops pleaded not guilty on Monday.
KNX 1070's Tom Reopelle reports Officer Anthony Arevalos of the San Diego Police Department allegedly targeted three different woman while on-duty — and prosecutors may soon file charges involving a fourth woman.

Prosecutors say there could be a total of 9 victims linked to the 18-year veteran officer, who faces 10 felony counts, including sexual battery by restraint.
A San Diego State University student is among Arevalos' reported victims.
She claims she was pulled over and given a breath analysis test during a traffic stop.
After the student's blood alcohol level registered above the legal limit, Arevalos allegedly offered a "deal" to have the ticket dismissed and began asking suggestive questions, such as what the student was wearing underneath her coat.
Upon the arrival of additional officers, Arevalos allegedly said "I guess the deal is over."
Arevalos was reportedly accused by another woman of sexual penetration under color of authority in February 20, but the district attorney for San Diego County declined to file charges for lack of evidence.
A judge increased Arevalos' bail to $200,000 before he was returned back to police custody.
In February, veteran SDPD Officer Art Perea was put on unpaid leave amid sexual assault allegations by a local college student.
Perea eventually resigned from the force earlier this month.
