OC Women And Family Center May Be Forced To Shut Its Doors
ORANGE (CBS) — Mariposa Women & Family Center has been helping women, families and children get back on their feet for more than 35 years.
Due to the struggling economy and lack of financial support from donors, the business may be forced to close its doors in just over a week.
Founded in 1977, the center provides high quality, low cost mental health and substance abuse counseling, life skills, and supportive services to women and families who otherwise would be unable to afford the help they so desperately need.
Whether the issues are depression, anxiety, loss of a loved one, substance abuse, anger management, domestic violence, childhood abuse, parenting difficulties, low self-esteem, communication problems, or other life challenges, Mariposa's counselors have been there to help.
