OC Father Of 3 Arrested In Croatia For Allegedly Abducting His Kids
LOS ANGELES (AP) — The FBI says an Orange County father has been arrested in Croatia on charges of abducting his three children, who have been returned to their mother in the United States.
The FBI said Thursday that Natasha Meskal and her children returned to their Fountain Valley home Wednesday night. Their father, Michael Meskal, is awaiting extradition in Zagreb, Croatia, on international kidnapping charges.
Michael Meskal is accused of taking the children out of the country in August without their mother's consent. She tracked them to his native Syria, but her husband refused to return.
After contacting police, Natasha Meskal arranged to meet her husband and children in Croatia, where Michael Meskal was arrested.
