San Bernardino Man Accused Of Sending Nude Pics To Texas Girl, 12, He Met Playing 'Game Of War'

SAN BERNARDINO (CBSLA.com) — A San Bernardino man has been arrested on suspicion of sending nude photos to a 12-year-old girl he met while playing "Game of War" online, authorities said Friday.

Paul Madison is being held on $25,000 bail after being arrested Tuesday at his home, which was searched by detectives. The detectives seized all of Madison's computers and cell phones, authorities said.

According to the sheriff's department, detectives from the Twin Peaks Sheriff's Station were notified by the Denton Police Department that Madison, who lived in Running Springs at the time, sent inappropriate matter – including nude photographs of himself – to a 12-year-old girl in Texas he met while playing "Game of War."

The girl told Denton police officers that they began texting outside of the game app and started an online relationship, according to San Bernardino County sheriff's officials. When the girl's mother discovered the pictures and text messages, she reported them to the Denton Police Department.

Detectives believe there may be others who experienced a similar situation with Madison. Anyone with information about him or the case can contact Detective Michelle Brand at the Twin Peaks Sheriff's Station at (909) 336-0600.
