Newport Specialty Hospital To Remain Open
TUSTIN (CBSLA.com) — The doors of an Orange County hospital that takes care of disabled children will remain open.
Newport Specialty Hospital in Tustin has come up with enough money to remain open, after looking at the possibility of closing due to a lack of funding.
The families of 20 severely disabled children have reportedly already transferred their child to West Anaheim Medical Center.
Pacific Health Corp., which owns the hospital, reports that it has more money after closing a number of other medical centers that it owned.
The company says that it will keep the pediatric ward open, and that it plans to reopen other wards that had been previously closed.
