New Interactive Exhibit Aims To Raise Awareness On Child Abuse
RIVERSIDE (CBSLA.com) — A new exhibit in the Inland Empire aims to raise awareness about child abuse through interactive displays.
The Lisa Project makes its debut 11 a.m. Friday in Riverside at the Galleria at Tyler mall.
Organizers say the displays offer vivid depictions of what children endure when abused by their parents or guardians, including rooms designed to replicate the chaos, stress and fear of abuse victims.
The Lisa Project has been marked as PG-13 because it contains disturbing content.
Visitors are given recommendations on how to identify and stop child abuse.
The exhibit runs through Oct. 7, and will then move to the Hemet Valley Mall, and on to Palm Desert.
The exhibit is open to visitors 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, and 1.pm.-5 p.m. Sundays.
