NACA Helping Struggling Homeowners, Prospective Buyers In Ontario
ONTARIO (CBS) — The Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America was in Ontario Thursday to help both struggling homeowners and prospective home buyers.
Dozens of local residents lined up outside the Ontario Convention Center as early as 12 a.m. to secure a spot at NACA's American Dream Tour.
Hundreds of lenders, investors, counselors and underwriters will be on hand throughout the weekend to help with both new mortgages and loan modifications.
NACA officials say the free event will help buyers who otherwise could not qualify for loans.
CBS2's Kara Finnstrom spoke with one attendee who says NACA has helped him before.
"The first go around was great," Paul Rodelo said. "They gave me a three percent fixed interest rate on my loan. I'm here today to hopefully get a principal reduction."
