Two people were rushed to a trauma center by paramedics Saturday suffering serious injuries after their sedan overturned on the 101 Freeway.

Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched at 10:10 a.m. to the northbound freeway at Sunset Boulevard.

"Firefighters skillfully freed two seriously injured adult occupants from their overturned sedan, which came to rest overturned on the northbound Hollywood Boulevard on-ramp, after striking two light poles," said Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
