Motorist Killed In Westwood After His Car Slams Into Light Pole
WESTWOOD (CBS) — A man was killed when his vehicle struck a light pole in Westwood Friday evening.
The victim, who was initially trapped in the vehicle, was taken to a hospital in grave condition and later pronounced dead, said Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The crash was reported at 7:43 p.m. at 10130 Sunset Blvd., one block west of the border with Beverly Hills, Scott said.
The cause of the crash was unknown.
The victim's name was not released pending notification of his next of kin.
