Motorcyclist Killed In Anaheim Crash
ANAHEIM (CBSLA.com) — Authorities said a motorcyclist was killed Sunday when he swerved to avoid a vehicle and was ejected from his bike.
Police said the unidentified rider -- going at a fast speed -- swerved to avoid the vehicle then struck a curb around 1:15 p.m. on Anaheim Boulevard near Lincoln Boulevard.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, Anaheim Police Lt. Bob Dunn said.
"He landed some distance away on the sidewalk," Dunn said.
The bike continued a short distance and struck a parked car, he said.
No one was arrested or cited pending further investigation, Dunn said.
