Motorcyclist Killed After Colliding On 60 Freeway
INDUSTRY (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Sunday were investigating a deadly crash involving a motorcyclist near the City of Industry.
The crash occurred about 2:29 a.m. on the westbound lanes of the 60 Freeway near the 605 Freeway.
A witness said the motorcyclist was traveling at a high rate of speed when it collided with two sedans and caught fire, according to CHP Officer Cheyenne Quesada.
Fire Dispatch Supervisor Ed Pickett said the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim's name has been withheld pending notification of next of kin
The crash closed four of five lanes on the 60 Freeway for a little over two hours.
