MANHATTAN (CBS) — Authorities Saturday said a motorcyclist, who was injured in a collision in Manhattan Beach, has died.
The crash involving the biker and a 1997 Toyota occurred about 3:15 p.m. Friday at Sepulveda Boulevard and Eighth Street, according to Manhattan Beach police Lt. Andy Harrod.
The 53-year-old victim was transported to Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center in Torrance where she died, Harrod said.
Her identity has been withheld pending notification of next of kin.
Two of the occupants in the Toyota apparently suffered minor injuries. According to Harrod, that vehicle was driven by a 17-year-old boy.
