that Garcia has served more than 250,000 meals to those in need over the past quarter-century.
Local hotels with huge commercial kitchens helped prepare thousands of turkeys for Thursday's feast, which was served outdoors in the parking lot of the Honda Center.
Hilton Anaheim, Marriott Anaheim, the Anaheim Ducks, the Honda Center, Jay's, the Anaheim Convention Center, and Garcia's restaurant, La Casa Garcia, all sponsored the event.
Garcia tells KCAL9's Michele Gile that he hopes to keep serving the dinner for another 30 years.
"I'll be a little over 100 years old," he quipped.
