Gusty Winds Expected In Southern California
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Gusty Santa Ana winds are expected across Southern California, along with warm temperatures, dry air and the potential for wildfires.

Fire Danger Heightened Because Of Expected Winds, KNX 1070's Ed Mertz Reports
The National Weather Service says the winds, generated by a strong high-pressure system over the Los Angeles Basin, will begin late Saturday and continue through Sunday evening.
"Red flag" warnings for fire danger have been posted for the San Fernando, San Gabriel and Santa Clarita valleys, the San Gabriel Mountains, and the hills north of downtown Los Angeles west to Malibu.
Winds will move in from the north and east, bringing gusts of 60 miles an hour in the mountains and 50 miles an hour in the valleys.
A high-surf advisory remains in effect through Saturday, with swells of up to ten feet, high tides and flooding possible in Los Angeles and Ventura counties.
