Missing FBI Files On Marilyn Monroe Found, Made Public
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — FBI files on Marilyn Monroe, that went missing earlier this year, have been found and were made public.
Parts of the files which had been kept secret are now available to the public, revealing interesting details about the icon's life.
Letters and news clippings show the FBI was aware of the theories surrounding the actress' death.
Although, no effort was taken to investigate the claims she had been murdered, and LA officials ruled her death was likely a suicide.
Some of the newly released sections showed how closely agents were monitoring Monroe's possible ties to communism, but there was no proof she was a member of the communist party.
