Metro Officials Say 'Jamzilla' Has Been Tame So Far
SEPULVEDA PASS (CBSLA.com) — Many drivers were heeding warnings to steer clear of the Sepulveda Pass this Presidents Day weekend.
Dubbed "Jamzilla," the planned 80-hour partial shutdown of the San Diego (405) Freeway from Getty Center Drive to Ventura Boulevard began late Friday night.

Sunday's early efforts concentrated on repaving the northbound thoroughfare near Getty Center Drive, which was completed on schedule, according to Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority spokesman Dave Sotero.
On Sunday evening, Bobby Kaple reporting for KCAL9 spoke to drivers who didn't think things were so bad.
He even found a few drivers who didn't know about "Jamzilla."
Kaple also found traffic moving at a decent clip although he did find a little congestion near the Skirball Center.
The closure was set to last through 5 a.m. Tuesday. During the day, two northbound lanes were to remain open with full northbound lanes closures at night. The following include the remaining full lane closures:
• Monday, Feb. 17 – 12 a.m. to 5 a.m.
• Tuesday, Feb. 18 – 12 a.m. to 5 a.m.
