Melrose Shoe Store Damaged By Early Morning Fire
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Fire ripped through an LA shoe landmark in the Fairfax District early Thursday morning.
Fire crews arrived just after 1 a.m. at Sportie LA, 7753 Melrose Ave., in the Fairfax District of Los Angeles.
The blaze began on the outside before making contact with the building, according to fire officials.
No one was injured in the fire, but arson investigators were on the scene looking into what may have caused the blaze.
