Mega Millions Jackpot Grows To $500 Million; Largest In US History
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — No one won Tuesday night's $363 million jackpot, which has now grown to an estimated $500 million.
In California, nine people matched five of the six winning numbers with the exception of the Mega number. Each ticket is worth $308,573.
The winning numbers were 9, 19, 34, 44, 51 and the Mega number is 24.
Friday's drawing will be an estimated $500 million-- the largest in U.S. history.
The Mega Millions game is played in 41 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
