Mega Millions Jackpot Climbs To $102 Million For Tuesday
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — No numbers matched all six Mega Millions numbers in Friday's draw so the jackpot for Tuesday has climbed to an estimated $102 million.
The numbers in Friday's multi-state Mega Millions draw were 2, 5, 45, 46, 47 and the Mega number was 37.
Two tickets in California matched five of five (no Mega) and those ticket holders will each pocket $312,766.
Those tickets were sold at a 7-Eleven (5800 Manchester Boulvard) in Los Angeles and at a Chevron station (145 Hartz Avenue) in Danville.
There were a total of 133,453 winners in California ranging from the $312,766 winners to $2 for matching just the Mega number.
The odds of matching all five numbers and the Mega number is 1 in 175,711,536, according to the Mega Millions website. The overall chance of winning a prize is 1 in 40.
The Mega Millions game is played in 42 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
