Mechanic, Girlfriend Accused Of Sexually Abusing Girl, 9, For More Than 1 Year
SANTA ANA (CBS) — A mechanic has been arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting a 9-year-old girl, and his girlfriend, a relative of the girl, has been accused of watching him do it.
Nazario Cruz-Sanchez, 40, and his girlfriend, 28-year-old Estela Garcia, allegedly abused the child for more than a year, police said.
Garcia, who is related to the girl, told the child she should have sex with Cruz-Sanchez because she needed to learn how to perform the acts, so that when she grew up, she'd have boyfriends as well, KNX 1070's Mike Landa reports.

The abuse stopped when the girl told a school friend and the police were called.
Police say Cruz-Sanchez is also under investigation for a similar crime that happened 7 years ago.
Both Garcia and Cruz-Sanchez are being held without bail and are scheduled to be in court on April 13.
