'Maroon 5' To Open CBS' Live Grammy Nominations Concert On Dec. 5
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Three-time Grammy Award-winning pop-rock group Maroon 5 will be the first act to perform at The Grammy Nominations Concert Live — Countdown to Music's Biggest Night, CBS announced Tuesday.
LL Cool J, a two-time Grammy winner, will also return to host the one-hour special, which airs Dec. 5 at 10 p.m. on CBS2.
The concert, which will be held at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn., marks the fifth time Grammy nominations have been announced live on primetime television.
Following the one-hour broadcast, guests will experience a one-hour exclusive concert by one of the evening's performers.
Pre-sale tickets for The Grammy Nominations Concert Live — Countdown to Music's Biggest Night go on sale Tuesday to select VIPs.
Tickets to the general public will go on sale Friday, Sept. 21, and are available online at www.ticketmaster.com or via Ticketmaster charge-by-phone lines at (800)745-3000.
The 55th Annual Grammy Awards will be held on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, at Staples Center. The show will air from 8 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. on CBS2.
