Marcus Thames Officially Released
(CBS) -- Marcus Thames has cleared waivers and has been officially released by the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The Dodgers waived Thames during the All-Star break when they acquired Juan Rivera from the Toronto Blue Jays.
In just 66 At-Bats for the Dodgers, the 34-year-old was hitting .197 with two homers.
