210 Freeway Through Pasadena Shut Down For Police Investigation
PASADENA (CBSLA.com) — The Foothill (210) Freeway was shut down in Pasadena early Wednesday after a man was found dead in the roadway.
The California Highway Patrol received several calls around 3 a.m. about a body in the lanes near the Windsor Avenue exit, officials said.

One vehicle had struck the unidentified man, who was declared dead on the scene by paramedics.
"The driver said they were driving and saw something in the roadway. The driver swerved to avoid the body . . . and the car behind it was unable to avoid the body," Sgt. Barry Jones of the CHP said.
Pasadena police have taken over the investigation.
The 210 Freeway was reopened around 7:30 a.m.
