Woman Killed, Man Wounded In Possible Murder-Suicide Attempt In Koreatown
KOREATOWN (CBSLA.com) — A woman was found with a gunshot wound inside a car in Koreatown Friday morning, less than two miles away from an apparent suicide.
Los Angeles police officers responded to a report of a shooting at about 6:31 a.m. on James Wood Boulevard near Kingsley Drive, where they found a woman who had been shot inside a car, an LAPD watch commander said. She was taken to a local hospital in unknown condition and later pronounced dead.
About 20 minutes later, police received a report of a man who reportedly shot himself about a mile and a half away. Police say he is in extreme critical condition.
Police say the two shootings are connected, but declined to say what the relationship was between the man and the woman.
