Man Wearing 'LA' Baseball Cap Robs Bank In Cathedral City
CATHEDRAL CITY (CBS) — A man wearing an "LA" baseball cap robbed a bank branch inside a Cathedral City supermarket Wednesday afternoon, according to police.
The suspect robbed the Chase branch inside Stater Bros. at 67800 Vista Chino, about 2:20 p.m., Cathedral City police Lt. Chuck Robinson said.
"The suspect waited in line, presented a demand note to the teller and walked out of the location with an undisclosed amount of money," Robinson said.
No weapon was seen.
The suspect was described as being in his late 20s to early 30s, with light-colored black skin and a goatee. He is about 5 feet 9, weighs between 210 and 220 pounds and has light brown eyes, Robinson said.
The suspect was wearing a multi-colored "LA" baseball hat, plaid long-sleeve T-shirt and dark baggy pants. No suspect vehicle was spotted, according to police.
