Man Wanted For Sexually Assaulting Women In San Pedro
SAN PEDRO (CBSLA.com) — Police sought the public's help Wednesday to provide information that would lead to the arrest of a sexual assault suspect who has targeted women in the San Pedro area.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the suspect is wanted for sexually assaulting multiple women in the areas of Los Angeles and San Pedro.
Officers said the man approached a 16-year-old female at a bus stop in April. He made lewd and suggestive comments while touching himself.
In June, the same suspect approached an adult woman from behind and grabbed her breasts and he exposed himself.
Earlier this month, the man approached another adult woman and exposed himself while touching the victim. He fled from the scene.
Detectives described the suspect as a Hispanic man believed to be between the ages of 19 and 25-years-old. He has black hair, stands no taller than 5-foot-9 and weighs no more than 200 pounds.
Police believe there may be additional victims who have not yet come forward.
