Man To Be Booked On Suspicion Of DUI After Compton Crash
COMPTON (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Sunday said a man is expected to be booked on suspicion of felony DUI following a crash in Compton.
The accident happened about 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Compton Avenue and Imperial Highway in Compton.
Police say the suspect was driving a vehicle carrying his four children and their mother inside when he allegedly ran a red light and collided with another car.
A father and three children were in the second vehicle.
In all, seven children and two adults were taken to the hospital.
All were released from the hospital within a few hours.
No further information was immediately provided.
