Man Suspected Of Throwing Powdered Sugar On Adam Levine Arrested For Battery
HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com) — A man suspected of throwing powdered sugar onto singer Adam Levine outside Jimmy Kimmel's Hollywood studio was booked on suspicion of battery.
Bail was set at $100,000 for Navid Farsi, 28, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. It was not immediately clear if he was still in custody.
The incident occurred Wednesday afternoon as the singer interacted with fans before his scheduled appearance on Kimmel's show, which is recorded in the talk show host's studio in the 6800 block of Hollywood Boulevard.
Levine later performed the song "Sugar" on Kimmel's show.
Farsi is the same suspect who climbed the cross of a church on La Brea Avenue while nude in 2009, leading to a standoff for more than seven hours before he finally came down.
