Man Suspected Of Robbing Santa Monica Bank
SANTA MONICA (CBS) — Police are trying to find a man they say robbed a bank in Santa Monica.
A Chase bank at 1333 4th Street in Santa Monica was robbed at about 1:25 p.m. on Jan. 17. Witnesses told police that the suspect entered the bank, approached a teller and handed her a demand note. After receiving the cash, he fled on foot.
Police say they identified the robber as 46-year-old David Michael Cardwell. He is described as a 5-foot-10, 195-pound black man, with brown hair and eyes.
