Man Stabbed In Stomach At Leimert Park Bar
LEIMERT PARK (CBSLA.com) — A man was stabbed in the stomach early Monday morning when he got into an argument with another man at a bar in Leimert Park, according to police.
It happened around 1 a.m. at 4105 Fourth Avenue, LAPD Lt. Scot Williams said.
"Two guys were drinking together and they got into a verbal dispute," Williams said. "One guy pulled out a folding knife and stabbed the other guy in the upper stomach. I don't think he even realized he was stabbed at first. He thought he was punched in the stomach."
The knife had a three-inch blade.
Police say the assailant fled.
The victim reportedly was taken to a hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
