Man Stabbed In Face At Los Angeles International Airport

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A suspect was in custody Friday after allegedly stabbing another man in the face at the Los Angeles International Airport.

LAX Police responded at 12:30 a.m. to a report of an altercation between Terminal 3 and the Tom Bradley International terminals, according to officials.

A man was reportedly at the airport to pick up an LAX employee when he was stabbed multiple times, including above the eye. He was transported to a medical facility in unknown condition.

The suspect, who was in possession of a knife, was located across from Terminal 2 and arrested for attempted murder. He was transported to the Airport Police Station for pre-booking procedures.

It was unclear why the suspect was at the airport as he was not a passenger. The motive for the stabbing remains unknown.
