Man Sought In West Covina Bank Of America Robbery

WEST COVINA (CBS) — Authorities are searching for a man who robbed a Bank of America branch Tuesday afternoon.

Police say the suspect walked into the Bank of America, 1520 E. Amar Road, around 2:30 p.m., demanded cash and displayed a handgun that was tucked into his pants, West Covina police said.

The suspect threatened to shoot someone before escaping with an unknown amount of cash.

He is described as a white man, 20-30 years old, between 5'11 – 6'0, 160-170 pounds, wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, jeans and a baseball cap.

No one was injured in the robbery.
