Man Shot To Death At Pomona Family Party
POMONA (CBSLA.com) – A 23-year-old man was shot and killed when a fight at a family party in Pomona escalated into a shooting late Friday night, a police sergeant said.
The fight broke out at 11:45 p.m. at a home on the 500 block of East McKinley Avenue, where someone pulled out a gun and shot Joseph Ellis Aguilar, said Pomona police Sgt. Bert Sanchez.
Aguilar, a resident of Pomona, was rushed to Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving, Sanchez said.
It was unclear if a suspect had been identified. Pomona police asked anyone with information regarding the fight and shooting to call them at 909-620-2085.
