Man Shot In Parking Lot Of Ralphs In Inglewood
INGLEWOOD (CBS) — A male was shot multiple times in the parking lot of a Ralphs market in Inglewood Wednesday evening.
The shooting occurred at 7:41 p.m. at 950 N. La Brea Ave., near Centinela Avenue, said Sgt. Tyrin Bailous of the Inglewood Police Department.
The victim was taken to a trauma center, but his condition was not known, Bailous said.
Suspect information was not immediately available, Bailous said.
Meanwhile, in an unrelated shooting, police say a man was fatally wounded in Lynwood Wednesday evening.
That shooting occured just before 7:40, according to officials.
Police were responding to a "shots fired" call in the 3200 block of Euclid Ave.
The victim was taken to a hospital and he was pronounced dead.
At about 10 p.m. Wednesday evening, the CBS2/KCAL9 assignment desk was also following a lead about a possible "double shooting" in Garden Grove.
