Man Killed In Granada Hills Officer-Involved Shooting
GRANADA HILLS (CBSLA.com) — A man in his 60s was killed early Tuesday morning in an officer-involved shooting in the San Fernando Valley.
The shooting happened at a home in the 12700 block of Woodley Avenue just before midnight after police responded to a shots fired call.
When officers arrived on scene, they made contact with a man at the Granada Hills home and a standoff ensued, the Los Angeles Police Department said.
The suspect threatened officers with his rifle before he was fatally shot.
The unidentified man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The shooting was under investigation.
