Man Killed In Early Morning Shooting Pico Union

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) – A man was shot to death in the Pico Union neighborhood early Monday morning.

The shooting occurred at 4:20 a.m. in the 1300 block of South Berendo Street, just off West Pico Boulevard.

Los Angeles police arrived to find a man in his 20s dead at the scene from a gunshot wound to the head. The victim was not immediately identified.

There was no suspect information and no immediate word on a motive. It's unclear if the shooting was gang-related.
