Man Killed, Female Passenger Severely Injured In Valley Rollover Crash
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A 24-year-old driver died when the car he was driving went off Balboa Boulevard, hit a boulder and overturned, police said.
The accident at Balboa Boulevard and Woodley Avenue in the Knollwood neighborhood occurred about 9:25 p.m. Friday, said Los Angeles police Lt. Orlando Morino of the Valley Traffic Division.
The man died at the scene, he said. The car was headed north when he lost control. His name was unavailable pending notification of next of kin.
A female passenger, 21,was taken to Providence Holy Cross Medical Center with what Morino called severe injuries.
