Man Killed By Freight Train In Riverside
RIVERSIDE (CBS) — Authorities were investigating the death of a man killed by a freight train in Riverside.
The unidentified man, believed to be a transient, was struck on the Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad tracks near Adams and Indiana Avenues about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials say the train didn't have time to stop before hitting the man.
