Worker Grazed By Bullet In Chino Shooting; Suspect Remains At Large
CHINO (CBSLA.com) — Officers investigated a shooting that took place at a check cashing business Friday, which injured one man in Chino.
According to the Chino Fire Department, firefighters received a call around 11:40 a.m. for report of a shooting victim located at First One 4 Cash in the 12200 block of Central Avenue.
Officers said an armed suspect, who wore a wolf mask, entered from the rear of the business and shot a contract worker who was making improvements to the building.
Officials said the worker, a man in his 40s or 50s, was grazed in the head by a bullet, and was transported to a hospital.
He was listed in moderate condition, and has since returned home to his family.
The motive for the shooting is unknown.
The suspect remains at large.
