Homicide Detectives Investigate Shooting Death Of Man In Pomona
POMONA (CBSLA.com) — Homicide detectives Thursday investigated the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of an adult man in Pomona.
According to the Pomona Police Department, officers were sent around 10 p.m. Wednesday to the 1700 block of South Garey Avenue for report of a possible victim of a shooting.
"When officers arrived they found an adult male suffering from gunshot wounds," said Sgt. Michael Neaderbaomer. "The victim was pronounced dead at the scene."
Officials said the victim's identity is being withheld pending family notification.
The investigation is ongoing as the motive for the shooting remains unclear.
At this time, no suspect information has been provided.
