Man Fatally Shot Driving In Van Nuys Identified As Lancaster Resident
VAN NUYS (CBS) — Police have identified the man who was fatally shot while driving through Van Nuys Friday.
Rahmir Williams, a 29-year-old Lancaster resident, died after the roughly 1:15 a.m. shooting on Vanowen Street near Sepulveda Boulevard, according to a coroner's investigator and Los Angeles police.
Williams was driving east on Vanowen Street when someone opened fire on him, police said. The car crashed into a fence, police said.
It was unclear if the shot was fired from another vehicle or someone on foot.
