Man Killed In Brutal Beating Outside Burger King In Downtown LA
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Detectives continued their investigation Sunday into the circumstances surrounding the beating death of a man in his 30s.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, officers were sent around 7:00 p.m. Saturday to a Burger King, located in the 700 block of East Cesar Chavez Avenue.
A preliminary investigation revealed two suspects attacked a man outside the fast food restaurant.
When they arrived to the scene, police located a man suffering from apparent injuries sustained in the beating. He was transported to a hospital, where he later died.
According to police, the suspects did not use weapons in the assault.
Two men were taken into custody.
The investigation is ongoing, as the motive for the attack remains unclear. Detectives said they are continuing to interview witnesses to gain more information about the crime.
